Mum. She was born in Hong Kong in 1951- the year of the tiger. She swam and befriended wild animals. She grew strong, passionate, and determined. She defied reason, calling ancient forces, weaving them to heal, to dazzle diffracted through crystal facets, to conjure dreams into reality, to make reality something more. She raised us four, more, wrapped in those dreams warm, in her glow, a mother wolf. A carer, a builder, a fierce protector. She would always walk ahead, she knew where she was going… shadowed by her wolves. And so she lived, she loved, laughed and cried.  Eventually the ancient forces weren't enough, had some fey price, or had just run their course… and  are now seeping back into the land, the forest, the rivers the fields.
